JOSEPH ISAKEN

FOUNDER & PRINCIPAL
Born in Boston and raised with a hammer in hand, Joseph Isaksen found his footing in construction early working alongside his uncle's Mark, Paul, and Joe Butler in the residential building world. After graduating from Wentworth Institute of Technology, he went on to work for some of the largest general contractors in the industry, contributing to high-profile projects across a wide range of sectors.

Joseph’s project portfolio spans several distribution and robotics centers, data centers, high-rise residential towers, mixed-use developments, hospitality, government facilities, military infrastructure, EV charging stations, and gas manufacturing laboratories. He’s lived and worked in over 10 states and many more cities, collaborating with countless city and county municipalities and gaining a broad, adaptable perspective on construction at every scale.

Now at the helm of JL Magnus, Joseph focuses on strategic growth—leveraging emerging technologies and building long-term partnerships with clients who are eager to grow alongside him. His current work includes both residential and commercial projects, with an eye toward expanding into new markets to create a dynamic, well-balanced portfolio.
